Mike Vorhaus founded Vorhaus Advisors in November 2018. Previously, Mike worked at Magid for 25 years. His final role was President, Magid Advisors.
Mike founded the Magid Internet practice in 1995 and began the Magid Gaming Practice in 2001. The Magid Internet and Gaming practices worked with many of the top digital and gaming companies in the U.S. and abroad.
Mike provides consulting services focused on strategy, investment opportunities, product development, and marketing to a number of leading digital and gaming companies. He has also provided advice to venture capital and private equity firms in regard to investments in the media and tech spaces.
Mike has also been very involved with many start-ups in the digital media and technology industries. Mike focuses on strategic and tactical consulting, including the launch of new services and programming, as well as development and implementation of online and offline programs. Mike has provided many companies with assistance on their early-stage fundraising, as well as business development introductions and advice.
Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of Perion (Nasdaq: PERI) and Chairs the Nominations Committee, as well as serving on the Compensation and Audit committees. Perion is based in Israel and trades on the US Nasdaq, as well as the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Mike has regularly been quoted in various newspapers and Websites, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Reuters, MarketWatch, TheStreet, and others. Mike holds a B.S. in psychology and sociology, cum laude, from Wesleyan University and has worked as a fundraiser and transfer of technology officer at the California Institute of Technology and the University of California. Mike also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, The U.S. Senate, and as a part-time Advance Man in the Carter and Clinton White Houses. Mike has also consulted on a number of film projects such as You’ve Got Mail and The Matrix. Mike also appeared in Eddie Murphy’s movie, Imagine That, and is an active SAG member.

An avid gamer, Chris leveraged that passion into a successful career making games. His triple threat skill-set combines… a) the design and production skills of a developer, b) the business and strategic acumen of a publisher, and c) the brand and marketing sensibilities of a media executive.
Chris has used these skills to lead multi-team studios and worldwide interactive business units with over 300 employees at companies like Activision, DreamWorks Animation, Survios, Skydance, and Xsolla.
Lisa Anderson is Senior Vice President of Studio Operations for Jam City. She oversees mobile development for Jam City’s LA offices. Prior to joining Jam City Lisa spent 18 years at Disney and most recently was Vice President, Disney and Pixar Games at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. While there she was responsible for Global game development across both internal and externally developed titles including the mobile hit Disney Emoji Blitz.
Soojeong is a Google gaming vertical lead and Strategic Partner Manager dedicated to growing top gaming publishers. Before joining the North Americas apps team, she has been overseeing Google’s apps monetization in Korea for the past 3 years. Prior to Google, she worked in the finance industry in the emerging markets M&A division. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
John Riccitiello currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Unity, creator of the world’s leading platform for interactive, real-time 3D (RT3D) and 2D content. Riccitiello joined the company in 2014. During his tenure as Chief Executive, he has established the company’s market leadership in games, including more than 50% of games across mobile, PC, and console. He is also driving Unity’s RT3D adoption to non-gaming industries including Film & Entertainment, Architecture, Construction, Automotive, and more.
Riccitiello also serves on the boards of Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley, and the Board of Councilors for the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He was one of the early investors in Oculus Rift, which was acquired by Facebook in 2014.
Riccitiello has lived all over the world in cities including New York City, Chicago, Nicosia (Cyprus), Dusseldorf, Paris, and London.
As executive vice president of story and franchise development at Blizzard Entertainment, Lydia Bottegoni is tasked with overseeing the creative strategy and execution of cross-media development around Blizzard’s award-winning game franchises.
In this role, Bottegoni’s mission is to extend the Blizzard universe across a variety of media formats and platforms. She is responsible for establishing and developing a business strategy for Blizzard’s universes, driving the company’s game worlds into new arenas to engage fans old and new and to entertain an expanding global audience.
Previously Bottegoni was head of production for Sony Pictures Imageworks, responsible for overseeing all projects in production and managing the production team, while also leading the artist management team across multiple studio locations. She was co-producer on Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs as well as Surf’s Up, an Academy Award nominee for Best Animated Feature and winner of two Annie Awards.
Bottegoni was the senior visual effects producer on the Academy Award-winner for Best Visual Effects, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man.
Bottegoni is a member for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the Producers Guild of America.

Dave Madden joined EA in 2011 as the Senior Vice President of Global Brand Partnerships. In his role at EA, Mr. Madden oversees company brand partnership and media solutions on a global basis. David Bloom is a Los Angeles-based writer and consultant on communications and content strategy. He writes weekly columns on the collision of tech, media and entertainment for Tubefilter.com and for TVRev.com, hosts the Bloom in Tech podcast, and teaches a class on digital media at the University of Southern California. Bloom has been an award-winning journalist for numerous publications, including Variety, Deadline.com, Red Herring, and the Los Angeles Daily News, and held executive positions with MGM Inc., the USC Marshall School of Business, and the City of Los Angeles redevelopment agency. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
