Biography
As the CEO of Survios, Seth Gerson manages all facets of the business, ranging from virtual reality software development to location-based entertainment initiatives. A serial entrepreneur and video game professional, Mr. Gerson boasts a consistent, proven track record of success. He started his career at Sega, where he excelled in roles ranging from marketing to product development on the Genesis and Saturn product lines. From there, Mr. Gerson became one of Activision’s early producers, where he oversaw titles like Asteroids for PlayStation. He then moved to Universal Studios as a Senior Producer for its interactive division, where he produced such titles as Crash Bash for Sony. He then co-founded Pocket Soul, later selling the technology to Turner; it became the foundation for PlayOn Sports, the largest high school sports media outlet in the US. Additionally, Mr. Gerson co-founded and served as CEO of AltEgo, LLC, a mobile game producer, and has created and launched IP based content for major studios such as Paramount and Warner Brothers. Mr. Gerson holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Pennsylvania.
