Biography

Nicholas Longano is a leading entrepreneur and a standout name in video games, marketing, ecommerce.

He is a gaming industry veteran with over 20 years of experience launching top game franchises across all platforms with an expansive background in launch mega video game titles.

Longano’s experience includes working alongside the teams at Blizzard (WarCraft, Diablo) and Valve (Half Life 2, Counter Strike), serving as Senior Vice President of Publishing and Marketing at Vivendi-Universal/Blizzard. As General Manager of Universal Interactive, he also led the development and publishing of several original IPs — such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and film-based franchises such as The Thing, The Hulk, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Van Helsing, Chronicles of Riddick, and many more.

An entrepreneur at heart, Nicholas joined Massive Incorporated alongside Mitch Davis and created the world’s first in-game advertising network for all games. Massive Incorporated’s potential attracted impressive interest, and Microsoft quickly acquired the company.

After his success with Massive Incorporated, Longano also formed the video game industry’s first Hollywood-style games publishing company Brash Entertainment, was a co-founder of an innovative virtual music world marketing platform for aspiring artists (Music Mogul), and developed Over the Top Networks for leading celebrities.

In his early career before games, Longano was a marketing leader at Fortune 500 companies (including working with Unilever’s Calvin Klein Cosmetics and running marketing divisions for L’Oreal, Revlon, and Pepsi).

Today, Longano’s groundbreaking new rewards marketplace, Scuti, is setting the foundation to drive video game industry growth through gCommerce/MetaCommerce and brand-fueled player rewards. As the first-ever games marketplace, Scuti is known for its player-adhesive rewards program, non-intrusive advertising, and huge growth potential in a never-before-explored market.
