Biography
Julie was recently made Senior Vice President (SVP) of Revenue for Create Solutions at Unity after
spending 5 and a half years as the SVP of Revenue & Customer Success for Operate.
Teeing off her career as professional golfer, Julie has pioneered new platforms for advertising in the
digital age, helping to create the modern day video games industry in the process. The business models
she pioneered in no less than five different mediums over the years, moving from TV to web, console
games, social and then mobile have driven untold value for developers and companies alike.
Julie launched EA’s advertising business in online casual and console gaming, including the chart-
topping Madden franchise. She has consistently found ways to expand IP owners value in the
viewer/advertiser connection. Whether in an underdeveloped or evolving industry, she innovates for
success with a creativity that rivals that which the product founders brought to these technologies.
After EA, she cultivated monetization efforts for RockYou and Zynga, leading the latter to become the
largest ad business in mobile games. Prior to diving into the gaming space, Julie led revenue for
fifaworldcup.com at Yahoo! and was a key player in Quokka Sports’ 1999 IPO.
Julie has been recognized in Advertising Age’s "Women to Watch" report and named a “Top 25
Executive to Watch in Digital Entertainment” by Digital Media Wire. She lives in San Francisco with her
family.
