Prior to launching Story Kitchen, Johnson founded dj2 Entertainment, where he produced Sonic  the Hedgehog (2020), launching Paramount Pictures’ billion-dollar franchise that redefined the  commercial potential of videogame adaptations. Under Johnson’s leadership, Story Kitchen maintains a first-look television deal with Amazon  MGM Studios and a feature film animation first-look partnership with DreamWorks Animation,  positioning Story Kitchen as one of the leading studios focused on game-to-screen storytelling.

Known for his emphasis on narrative authenticity and respect for fan communities, Johnson has  built a reputation as a trusted bridge between the videogame industry and Hollywood, helping  shape a new generation of cross-media franchises.
