Biography
Andrew Chan joined Fanatics Collectibles in February 2022. As Head of Crypto he is responsible for the growth and development of blockchain technology to grow the trading card market. Products currently in development will scale the addressable market through liquidity, transparency and digital ownership.
Previous to joining Fanatics, Andrew led the digital gaming team at Mattel. He was responsible for licensing, co-development and joint venture opportunities across Mattel’s brand portfolio that includes infant pre-school brands (Fisher-Price, Thomas & Friends), Dolls (Barbie, Polly Pocket), Vehicles (Hot Wheels and Matchbox), Games (UNO, Rock’em Sock’em, 8Ball), Action Figures (Masters of the Universe, Street Sharks) and others.
Andrew also served on the board of Mattel’s mobile gaming joint venture with NetEase, Mattel163, developer of UNO! and Phase10, and has over 100 employees in two offices locations (Hangzhou, CN and El Segundo, CA).
Prior to joining Mattel, Andrew has worked across various product leadership, corporate development and investment banking roles at Comcast, Rising Tide Games (acquired by Zynga), Moonshark (acquired by Hitcents.com), Electronic Arts and Credit Suisse. Andrew received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
