Tom Michael

Tom Michael is a Venture Capital and Emerging Companies partner in Manatt’s Los Angeles office and the leader of the Manatt Consulting Group. Tom represents founding entrepreneurs and venture-backed companies at every phase of their life cycle. Having represented companies in well over $1 billion of venture capital financing transactions, his practice focuses on venture capital and private equity growth stage financings, as well as mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.

Tom also represents venture capital funds, angel networks, family offices, high net worth individuals, and celebrities in venture investment and strategic transactions. Additionally, he provides business consulting and outside general counsel services to clients across the full spectrum of industry sectors.

Prior to joining Manatt, Tom co-chaired a global law firm’s startup practice.
