Biography
Matt Edelman is the Chief Commercial Officer of Super League Gaming, (Nasdaq: SLGG), a leading network of metaverse games, monetization tools, and content channels across metaverse gaming platforms that empower developers, energize players, and entertain fans. The company’s solutions provide incomparable access to an audience consisting of players in the largest global metaverse environments, fans of hundreds of thousands of gaming influencers, and viewers of gameplay content across major social media and digital video platforms. Matt oversees the company’s revenue, marketing, content, community, live event and business development activities.
Previously, Matt served as the Head of Digital Operations and Marketing Solutions for WME-IMG (now Endeavor), where he was responsible for digital and social media growth across the company’s live event properties, digital strategy consulting for the agency’s brand clients, and managing direct-to-consumer OTT businesses. His initial foray into esports included assisting with the formation of ELEAGUE, a joint venture between Endeavor and Turner.
Prior to joining Endeavor, Matt was the CEO/Founder or on the executive team of multiple early stage digital media companies, after having been an entertainment industry executive responsible for helping to build Marvel Comics film and television business and launch Marvel.com.
Matt grew up outside of New York City, graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Politics and moved to Los Angeles when he was hired by Marvel. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife and two children and is actively involved in several charitable organizations.
