Biography
Francisca is a native of Santiago, Chile. She has been a teacher, flight attendant, interpreter for international delegations and ambassadors, leadership development consultant, and is currently an HR professional. Her human resources career encompasses external leadership assessment and development consulting as well as almost 20 years in corporate HR. She started off focused on rewards and recognition, took ownership of the employee engagement survey, and helped to establish a D&I function. Francisca is a contributing author featured in Latinas Rising Up in HR, founding leader of the Diversity Leadership Network (DLN), and is a frequent speaker and panel member at HR and DEI conferences and events.
She earned a B.S. in Translation and Interpretation, a master’s degree in education, a certificate in environmental studies, and a diploma from the Diplomatic Academy. In her spare time, she helps design her husband’s books that teach children how to thrive in life. Her most important accomplishments are being a mother of two boys, Garret and Santiago, and an abuela. Francisca lives in Key Biscayne with her husband and their dog named Rabbit.
