Biography
Jodie Rosello is an Executive Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for Fremantle. She leads business and legal affairs for the studio across all aspects of scripted television projects as well as performs services for feature films. The scope of her work includes negotiating and drafting agreements for all kinds of intellectual property rights and talent attachments. She routinely counsels creative, production, and studio executives on deal structure and business strategy and collaborates with colleagues in production and finance to solve production or contractual issues. In her role, Jodie frequently collaborates with studio colleagues in the UK to negotiate IP rights for previously exploited formats and to co-produce, finance, and distribute television projects internationally. She has handled deals with broadcast networks and premier streamers such as ABC, Fox, Hulu, Amazon and Amazon UK, Netflix, Apple, HBO, AMC, Showtime, Starz, and more. Prior to her time at Fremantle, Jodie worked in business and legal affairs at The Walt Disney Company, NBC Universal, The Mark Gordon Company/Entertainment One(eOne), and in independent film. Throughout her 17 year legal career she has been the lead in closing transactions for Oscar and Emmy winning talent and performed full service business and legal affairs for hit shows such as The Rookie, American Gods, and the recent Emmy nominated Fellow Travelers. Jodie is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin.
