Terry Li

Terry Li serves as Senior Vice President of Emerging Business and General Manager of Games at Crunchyroll, LLC, (formerly Funimation Global Group). In this role, Li focuses on expanding both new audiences and revenue streams for the company as well as driving the growth of the organization’s full 360 slate of offerings including ecommerce, merchandise, gaming, and live events.

Prior to assuming his current role, Li was Head of 360 and General Manager of Games at Crunchyroll. Li served as the Head of China Publishing for Riot Games (a Tencent Subsidiary), where he oversaw publishing strategy for their flagship products in-region. Before that, Li also served as the VP of international markets for Crunchyroll, focused on long-term growth, operations, business development, and partnerships across Latin America, Europe, and Oceania.

Li’s career has spanned interactive entertainment, gaming, eSports, digital media, and OTT, with executive leadership roles in corporate strategy, product, business development, and venture initiatives for companies like Riot, Soompi, Otto Radio, NZXT, Yahoo, Bread, and Google.

Li earned an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, a Master of Law with a focus on Business Law from the University of California, Hastings, and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
